The Talladega Public Library said a reluctant goodbye to a much-beloved staff member when she retired in December.
Mrs. Josephine Robinson said goodbye to the library staff, and library trustees at a banquet held in her honor on Dec. 15. Mayor Barton presented Mrs. Robinson a plaque from the Armstrong-Osborne Public Library Trustees for her 32 years of loyal service to the library.
Along with Mayor Larry Barton and the Armstrong-Osborne Public Library Trustees, and library staff; Friends of the Library president, Terry Hill, and the Friends of the Library secretary, Patty Hill, along with Josephine’s family and friends also attended the banquet.
Josephine’s smiling face will be missed behind the circulation desk of the library.
